Iranian reformist Pezeshkian wins presidential run-off election

A vote count offered by authorities put Pezeshkian as the winner with 16.3 million votes to Jalili’s 13.5 million in Friday’s election. He would be the first president from western Iran.

00:43A vote counted by the authorities put Pazeshkian as the winner with 16.3 million votes.

00:50Authorities put the election turnout at 49.6%, which is still historically low for an Iranian presidential election.
