00:00My proud moment as a Kapuso is the moment that I signed with GMA.
00:10When I was young, I've always wanted to try to enter the industry.
00:15Because my family always told me, especially my grandmother,
00:20that maybe one day I'll become an artist or a singer.
00:24So I think you should pursue your dreams, which I did.
00:29And fortunately, I was chosen and I'm very thankful to GMA
00:33because GMA gave me a lot of opportunities and GMA allowed me to grow.
00:38So that's where it all started and I'm just very, very grateful that I'm still here now.
00:45My proudest moment as a Kapuso is returning to Kapuso Network.
00:50It's a great feeling that there are still things I can do that I couldn't do on my own
00:55but Kapuso Network allowed me to do.
00:58Up to this day, I'm very thankful to Kapuso Network
01:02because they trusted me with great projects.
01:06And I can say that I'm not just a dancer here at Kapuso Network.
01:12I'm not just a performer, but I can say that
01:14with the great projects they trusted me with,
01:18at least I got to know people who are now actors.
01:23So I'm very happy.
01:25Well, I won the POPs or Kill Grand Champion.
01:29That was in 2006 at QTV11.
01:32But of course, it's still part of the GMA Network.
01:35I was only 10 years old then.
01:36Of course, for a 10-year-old to win a contest
01:40and to be able to be with a group of people,
01:44Mr. Gene Velasquez, Jaya, Ogie Alcacid, Jano Gibbs, and other GMA Kapuso stars.
01:51For me, that's a huge achievement.
01:54I can say that one of my greatest achievements in GMA
01:58is when My Special Tatay happened to me,
02:01when I met Aubrey.
02:03So that was a big change in my life, especially in my career,
02:09when I met Aubrey.
02:12I'm forever grateful for that project and the big break it gave me.
02:17That's what opened opportunities and doors for me
02:21so that I can show other people what I'm capable of as an artist.
02:28My proudest moment as a Kapuso is when I made a TV series with advocacy.
02:33For example, Destiny Rose,
02:36This Is All About LGBTQ Community,
02:39My Special Tatay, About Autism Awareness,
02:42and Ang Dalawang Ikaw.
02:44For Mental Health, I made Dissociative Identity Disorder.
02:48I'm proud that I was able to make TV series with advocacy
02:52that helped people understand what this awareness is.
02:57My proudest moment as a Kapuso is when I became a Kapuso Foundation Ambassador.
03:03Because being a Kapuso is not just to bring entertainment,
03:08we are also Kapuso to all the people around us.
03:11We help people in need, we spend time with them.
03:15So it's not just entertainment, we are really Kapuso to all of them.
03:19I just want to add that being a Kapuso is the proudest moment for me
03:23because from day one, I came here to Malia.
03:26It's just a dream come true.
