Il ministro Crosetto: "Vespucci ambasciatore delle eccellenze italiane"

(Adnkronos) - "L’idea di questo progetto è quella di portare una piazza d’Italia, che rappresenti le grandi eccellenze italiane, dalla cultura all’arte, dall’enogastronomia alla tecnologia all’industria al design in un’altra nazione. Arriva Vespucci, arriva un ambasciatore dell’italianità, di tutto ciò che è l’Italia e, oltre alla nave, a terra, chiunque viglia può trovare rappresentato un pezzo del nostro paese con le eccellenze in un’atmosfera che ricorda le città italiane, la piazza, il campanile: un luogo di aggregazione che rende l’Italia unica anche dal punto di vista umano”. Così il ministro della Difesa Guido Crosetto, intervenendo a Los Angeles alla cerimonia inaugurale della tappa americana del tour mondiale di Nave Amerigo Vespucci, storico veliero e nave scuola della Marina Militare Italiana già ambasciatore del Made in Italy nel mondo e del Villaggio Italia, l’Esposizione Mondiale Itinerante pluriennale delle eccellenze italiane che per altre sette tappe affiancherà il tour del Vespucci.
