00:00Donald Trump wants to destroy not only the city, but the country, and eventually he could destroy the world.
00:07Welcome to WatchMojo, and today, we're looking at the most notable celebrities,
00:12whose words and actions managed to get under the skin of real estate mogul,
00:16former reality TV star, and 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump.
00:22And did it sort of start, it started from The View, yes?
00:25The View.
00:25Yeah.
00:26Stephen Colbert.
00:27Back in 2015, Donald Trump, then the frontrunner in the Republican presidential primaries,
00:33made a memorable appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
00:36I just want to give you the opportunity,
00:37is there anybody you'd like to apologize to right now yourself?
00:42Well, no.
00:43The conversation was awkward, marking one of the rare moments when the two men appeared to get
00:47along. Since then, Colbert has made Trump a regular target of his jokes, even refusing to
00:52mention his name on the show after Trump denied the results of the 2020 election. These relentless
00:58jabs clearly ruffled Trump's feathers, prompting him to label Colbert a no-talent guy.
01:03The president of the United States has personally come after me and my show.
01:09Trump didn't stop there. He also claimed that Colbert isn't funny,
01:13and boasted that his appearance on The Late Night Show gave him,
01:16quote, the highest ratings he's ever had.
01:19There's only one thing to say.
01:23Meghan Kelly.
01:26It's no secret that Donald Trump has a colorful history of using offensive terms to describe
01:31women.
01:31You've called women you don't like fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals.
01:38This came to a head in August 2015 during the first Republican presidential debate,
01:43when co-moderator Meghan Kelly called him out on it.
01:46Trump didn't take this lightly, firing back at Kelly during the debate and on social media.
01:51And honestly, Meghan, if you don't like it, I'm sorry. I've been very nice to you,
01:55although I could probably maybe not be based on the way you have treated me,
01:59but I wouldn't do that.
02:00Over the following weeks, Trump unleashed a barrage of attacks so harsh that Fox News
02:05had to step in and defend Kelly.
02:07You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.
02:12She was off base.
02:14Even after a one-on-one interview in May 2016 meant to clear the air between the two,
02:19Trump's animosity did not fade.
02:21Fast forward to 2024, and despite Kelly's apparent support for Trump's campaign,
02:26the former president still isn't her biggest fan.
02:29She's sort of making a career by pretending she likes me.
02:32Samuel L. Jackson.
02:34This feud began over Donald Trump's favorite pastime, a game of golf.
02:37Firing back at movie star Samuel L. Jackson
02:40after the actor accused him of cheating at golf in a recent interview.
02:46In a January 2016 interview with Rhapsody magazine,
02:49Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson boasted about being a better golfer than Trump.
02:54He also accused Trump of cheating and sending him a bill for his golf club
02:58despite not being a member.
03:00Trump swiftly took to social media denying he even knew Jackson.
03:04I don't know Samuel L. Jackson to the best of my knowledge.
03:06Haven't played golf with him and think he does too many commercials.
03:10Boring.
03:11Not a fan.
03:12However, actor Anthony Anderson backed up the story and Jackson shared more details,
03:17including a picture of the bill and the fact that President Bill Clinton was also present.
03:22Don showed up in the middle of the round and we went into the clubhouse
03:25and he gave Bill a jacket because it was a little chilly.
03:28Wow. He didn't even ask you if you were cold?
03:30No. I had a jacket on.
03:32Oh, you already had a jacket on.
03:33I was good.
03:33Trump fired back claiming Jackson was the real cheat and criticizing his golf swing.
03:38At least he admitted to meeting the actor,
03:40but we doubt a rematch would happen anytime soon.
03:43You ever play golf?
03:45No.
03:46Before you learn how to talk real estate,
03:48you got to learn how to talk to rich white folks.
03:50So it seems like you want to.
03:52LeVar Ball.
03:53In 2017, LeVar Ball made headlines when he
03:56got into a public feud with then President Donald Trump.
03:59Did you ever think that you would be on CNN
04:02discussing geopolitics and the president of the United States?
04:06Never in my wildest dreams.
04:10It all began when Ball's son, LeAngelo, was arrested in China for shoplifting,
04:15a charge carrying up to 10 years in prison.
04:18However, this situation was miraculously resolved
04:21just as Trump embarked on a trip to Asia.
04:23I heard about it two days ago.
04:25I had a great conversation with President Xi.
04:29He's been terrific.
04:30Trump took credit for LeAngelo's release,
04:33but Ball disagreed and refused to thank him.
04:36I have to know what somebody's doing before I say thank you.
04:38I'm just not going to go around saying thank you.
04:40This angered Trump, who took to social media
04:42to label him as an, quote, ungrateful fool.
04:46Regardless, Ball stood his ground
04:48and was vindicated months later by an ESPN report
04:51that revealed Trump had nothing to do with the player's release.
04:55For Ball, this feud was the reason Trump lost the 2020 election.
04:59Hey, Chris Moe, thank you for having me on here, man.
05:01I appreciate you.
05:02Madonna.
05:03Donald Trump has never really been Madonna's number one fan,
05:07a fact that's quite clear from some of his old tweets.
05:10However, his displeasure for the Queen of Pop hit a new low
05:14after her fiery remarks at the 2017 Women's March in Washington, D.C.
05:18Welcome to the revolution of love.
05:22The march, which was done in response to Trump's inauguration,
05:25saw several prominent women take the stage to voice their concerns,
05:29one of whom was Madonna.
05:31Well, good did not win this election,
05:37but good will win in the end.
05:40Fueled by her frustration with Trump's proposed policies,
05:44Madonna went so far as to talk about, quote,
05:46blowing up the White House.
05:47And with each step, know that we are not afraid.
05:54Her comments drew criticism from both sides,
05:56including from Trump himself, who labeled her disgusting.
06:00Safe to say the former president is not hung up on Madonna.
06:04Snoop Dogg.
06:05The relationship between Donald Trump and Snoop Dogg was once amicable,
06:09but things soured once Trump became president.
06:12Donald say he wants to run for president and move on into the White House.
06:16Why not?
06:17It wouldn't be the first time you push the black family out of their home.
06:20In 2017, Snoop released a music video featuring him aiming a gun at a clown dressed like Trump.
06:26Actually, it's a fact to me.
06:28If I ruled the world, would it come back to me?
06:30Naturally, the then president wasn't amused and slammed the video on social media.
06:35However, after Trump lost the 2020 election,
06:37the tides turned as Snoop needed a favor, a pardon for his close friend Michael Hario Harris.
06:43We all know Hario was a kingpin out of L.A.
06:46And he was scheduled to be released on October 2028,
06:51but will now be immediately released from prison.
06:54Trump, still salty over Snoop's past digs,
06:56reportedly unleashed some choice words at the rapper once he was reminded of them.
07:01Harris got his pardon and Snoop's tune changed to one of, quote,
07:05love and respect for Trump,
07:07though we suspect Trump might not be entirely convinced by his newfound affection.
07:17Rosie O'Donnell
07:18Donald Trump has locked horns with several celebrities over the years,
07:21but none quite as persistently as comedian Rosie O'Donnell.
07:33Their bitter feud began in 2006,
07:36when O'Donnell criticized Trump's morals over his handling of the Miss USA pageant.
07:47Never one to let things slide,
07:49Trump began a relentless series of attacks against the comedian,
07:52both in the press and on social media.
07:54He never missed a chance to throw shade at O'Donnell,
07:57most notably during the Republican debates when he sparred with Megyn Kelly.
08:01You've called women you don't like fat pigs, dogs,
08:05slobs, and disgusting animals. Your Twitter account—
08:09Only Rosie O'Donnell.
08:13No, it wasn't.
08:15Their heated exchange seemed to cool off a bit after Trump became president,
08:19but it was far from over. In 2024, after Trump's historic felony conviction,
08:24O'Donnell couldn't resist publicly celebrating his undoing.
08:28No one is above the law, not even the president of the United States,
08:31and I hope that eventually that is a unifying concept
08:34and we can all come together and be one nation once again.
08:37Alec Baldwin
08:39When you sign on to routinely mock Donald Trump, don't expect him to take it lying down.
08:47In September 2016, actor Alec Baldwin began portraying Trump on Saturday Night Live,
08:52just as the show ramped up its election coverage.
08:55Baldwin's impersonation was a hit with critics and even snagged him an Emmy Award.
09:00I suppose I should say, at long last, Mr. President, here is your Emmy.
09:04However, the audience of one that is Trump was far from amused.
09:08Trump lambasted Baldwin's impression as, quote,
09:11really mean-spirited and not very good,
09:14and sparred with the actor on social media when he described the role as, quote, agony.
09:19Agony though it may be, I'd like to hang in there for the impeachment hearings,
09:23the resignation speech, the farewell helicopter ride to Mar-a-Lago,
09:26you know, the good stuff that we've all been waiting for.
09:29Even after leaving office, Trump's resentment towards Baldwin lingered,
09:33as he hinted that Baldwin's unfortunate shooting incident on the Rust set
09:37might not have been accidental.
09:39Kathy Griffin
09:40In 2017, comedian Kathy Griffin managed to kill two birds with one stone.
09:45She drew the ire of the president and effectively derailed her career.
09:52This was all due to a controversial picture Griffin posted on social media,
09:57showing her holding a bloody mask that looked eerily like Donald Trump.
10:01The backlash was swift and severe, coming from every direction.
10:05Trump himself tweeted that the stunt was, quote,
10:07sick and declared that Griffin, quote, should be ashamed of herself.
10:14According to the comedian,
10:15Trump and his family went all out to sabotage her career over the photograph.
10:27If that's the case, they did a pretty good job,
10:29as Griffin lost gigs and sponsorships, and had her tour dates cancelled.
10:50Robert De Niro
10:51Of his many celebrity critics,
10:54Donald Trump may have found his most vocal in Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro.
11:02If Trump had a million haters, De Niro would be one of them.
11:06If the world suddenly rallied behind Trump, De Niro would be the last man standing against him.
11:11We New Yorkers used to tolerate him when he was just another grubby real estate
11:15hustler masquerading as a big shot.
11:17The actor's tirade began in 2011, when Trump questioned Barack Obama's birthplace.
11:22His criticism only intensified as Trump ran for office and won.
11:26We've seen horrible things over the years,
11:31but this is one of the worst that I have ever seen and that I ever,
11:36as I say, ever thought I would see. But it's real.
11:39Trump hasn't held back either, mocking De Niro's intelligence and acting career at every turn.
11:45His animosity towards the actor remains unwavering,
11:48never missing the chance to throw insults his way on social media.
11:52Many may adore De Niro today, but if he has one hater, best believe it's Donald Trump.
11:58Has any of your favorite celebrities made it into Donald Trump's burn book?
