00:05some Kadiwa stores started selling their rice for Php29 per kilo.

00:12The system was also implemented to avoid the return of those who will buy

00:18and those who will benefit more.

00:22This is what Clay Zalpardilio reported.

00:25Raquel's rice is cheap at the Kadiwa Store in Quezon City.

00:30But it's not just the rice that she gets home with,

00:33but also her fingers that have ink on them.

00:35It's like I'm going to throw up.

00:37As a reminder, those who bought Php29 per kilo of rice

00:43are being placed with ink on their fingers.

00:47This is followed by several recurring incidents

00:50and the return of buying cheap rice at Kadiwa Store.

00:54This is what they get for Php29.

00:58There's a lot of ink.

01:00Currently, there are only three Kadiwa Stores in the entire NCR.

01:04Only up to three kilos can be bought in one day.

01:08That's why some are still massaging to go to Kadiwa Store.

01:13In one pack, it's five kilos.

01:16It's not cheap to massage.

01:18Monday to Wednesday is the schedule of selling cheap rice

01:22at ADC Kadiwa.

01:24Thursday to Friday at Bureau of Animal Industry

01:27at Visayas Avenue.

01:29Kadiwa Store opens from 8 a.m.

01:32for the vulnerable sector,

01:34such as the elderly, solo-parent, four-piece, and those with children.

01:39Several PWDs, such as Maria, have cancer in their fingers.

01:43Php29 is important to me

01:46because it's cheap and I can use it for medicine.

01:57I just hope that it will start early

02:03so that I won't have a hard time lining up.

02:07The Department of Agriculture said

02:10that everything will be done as part of the trial

02:13of Project 29 launched by the government on July 5.

02:18This is the improved or better system

02:22and expanded selling of cheap rice.

02:25Project 29 will be closer to more places inside and outside the NCR.

02:31Part of our announcement on Thursday

02:34is for the vulnerable sectors,

02:37for the general public,

02:40and for the program.

02:43We will tell them when this group will be formed.

02:48There is a solution that is easier for them.

02:58Aside from cheap rice,
