The Acer Predator Z57 is one of the largest gaming monitors at CES. 7,680 x 2,160 resolution and a mini-LED panel makes everything appear bright and colorful along with a 120Hz refresh rate.

00:00Hey guys, we're here at CES Island 24 with Acer to check out the brand new Predator Z57

00:0657-inch gaming monitor. This is a big deal. Let's check it out

00:09This is basically two 4k 32-inch monitors in one and it looks fantastic right now

00:15I'm playing Forza Horizon 5 and it's it's awesome. I'm loving it

00:19One of the benefits of having a monitor this size with the curve is that you actually feel really enveloped

00:24within whatever games you're playing. I feel it's best for racing games and

00:29First-person shooters so you could really see all the environments around you especially in a first-person shooter

00:33So nobody could sneak up on you and even though in racing games, you're mainly just focusing on the middle

00:38I feel that seeing the giant environment around you. It just helps you become more immersed and

00:44With this monitor specifically it has a 120 Hertz refresh rate, which I feel is really really good for

00:51Just keeping everything looking nice and smooth

00:53I can't speak about the the colors and brightness like, you know number wise

00:57But to my eyes, it looks really nice really colorful and it's just a pleasing experience

01:02Again, it's just super immersive

01:03I love these kind of monitors as great as these

01:06Super ultra wide monitors could be the main drawback is that if you're playing on a PlayStation 5

01:12Xbox Series X that most games since they're at 16 by 9 aspect ratio. You're gonna have like empty space on the side

01:19So that would that's one of the drawbacks

01:21This is really a monitor for PC gamers and even not all PC games have that aspect ratio

01:27So that's something to keep in mind if you're looking into getting this right now. We're looking at a q2 release date

01:32It's gonna set you back 2499. I know that's kind of pricey

01:36But considering you're getting again to 4k 32 inch monitors and one and you get such an immersive experience

01:42I think it's worth it, especially if you're like a true hardcore gamer

01:45But just remember not every game could take advantage of the aspect ratio

01:49But if you're playing games like racing games or first-run shooters that can take advantage, I think it's worth it
