Martinez full of praise for Georgia after shock defeat

Roberto Martinez took nothing away from Georgia and felt they fully deserved their 2-0 win over Portugal

00:04talk about the goalkeeper that has been three years at the highest level and he

00:08had a wonderful game. You would talk about Vycha that is one of the best

00:12dribbling players with a final action in the top five leagues. You would highlight

00:17the technical ability of this team. You would highlight the low block, the help,

00:23the structure that they have defensively and the counterattacks and I think

00:26everything we've seen is exactly what we expected from Georgia. Then they

00:31showed an incredible belief, it is true. I'm sure that scoring early helps but

00:37that probably was the biggest surprise or the only surprise that they were able

00:41to maintain the level of belief and intensity for 90 minutes because it was

00:45only probably the last 10 minutes where we had three clear good chances that we

00:48should have scored but not underestimating Georgia at all. I think

00:53the coach has done an incredible job and they deserve the credit today.
