00:04Chang'e is named after the Chinese moon goddess.
00:08It launched from Hainan Island in China on May 3rd, 2024.
00:13It is an unmanned mission.
00:16On June 1st, the lander and mobile camera rover
00:19landed on the surface of the dark side of the moon.
00:23Samples of the moon's surface were gathered,
00:26then launched back up to dock with the orbiter module.
00:30The containers carrying the samples
00:32were then transferred to a re-entry module,
00:36and the journey home begins,
00:39touching down on planet Earth in Inner Mongolia, China,
00:44on June 25th.
00:47The lunar samples will now go to the lab for analysis.
