00:00I got another opportunity as well to sing one of the theme songs of GMA which was Stressable and then it just went on and on.
00:09I started with GMA when I was a kid.
00:12My best friends were the variety show that they wanted to do.
00:16That's Entertainment with Kruger.
00:19I'm Julie Ann San Jose.
00:21I'm Raver Cruz.
00:23When we were still in the group, Sir Danny Tan was one of my mentors.
00:36He was also one of our musical directors before.
00:39He was the one who coached us, he was the one who trained us.
00:42He was the one who introduced us to GMA and to the GMA Artist Center.
00:49Now, it's Sparkle.
00:50If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be here today.
00:56We got an opportunity to form a group, like a kiddie group.
01:02I was with Rita, Cholo, Enzo, and Vanessa.
01:08We were really young.
01:10So, I said, let's just leave it at that.
01:13After two years, we disbanded.
01:16I figured it would be hard because we were all in an awkward stage.
01:20So, we decided to separate ways.
01:22I did not know yet what the plans would be for me.
01:26I was unsure or uncertain at that time if I was going to continue.
01:31Then, I got another opportunity to sing one of the theme songs of GMA, which was Stressable.
01:39I said to myself, maybe this is where the Lord will lead me.
01:44Fun fact, I was the one who started GMA.
01:47When I was a kid, I had a variety show with my best friends.
01:51They wanted to do a dance entertainment with Queer Germs.
01:55So, that's what I did.
01:56Then, I did a sitcom with Tito Joey Dilan.
01:59Then, I did a telecine, GMA Telecine.
02:02I even did a kerara.
02:05I did ABS, but most of my career was with ABS-CBN.
02:10I think I was 18 years old.
02:12Then, going back, I met my manager, Boss Vic Del Rosario from Sparkle.
02:21When I was a kid, I really wanted to be a pilot.
02:24I really wanted to be a pilot.
02:26I also wanted to be a basketball player.
02:28Growing up, I don't know why, but I have a thick skin.
02:31When there are parties, my mom always makes us dance or sing.
02:36And then, our uncle, Ricky Belmonte.
02:39Sometimes, Tito Ricky and Uncle Jess make us watch his movies or TV shows.
02:47It's like what Roger and I say, it's fun to watch yourself on TV.
02:54When I signed with GMA Artist Center and now Sparkle,
02:57when I signed with Sparkle for the first time,
03:00and then when I recorded my first album,
03:03and then when I won the Diamond Record Award,
03:07it's because of my fans.
03:09It's because of my supporters.
03:11And I wouldn't be here where I am right now if it weren't for them.
03:15And when I was given the role of Maria Clara at Ibarra,
03:19it's one of the roles that I will never forget for the rest of my life.
03:24Maybe I will tell stories to my grandchildren or to my family.
03:29This is also the first time I won.
03:33Did you think we would be the best hosts?
03:36I was scared to host before.
03:39I'm just happy because it's one of the things I enjoyed doing.
03:43Of course, one of my greatest achievements is being able to partner with Junie.
03:50I will love her and I will love her.
03:53It's like God's plan.
03:59I'm grateful to everyone.
04:01If it weren't for Sir Danny,
04:03he's the one who guided me, he's the one who supported me,
04:07he's the one who pushed me to do really well in my field.
04:13Glyza is one of them.
04:16I partnered with her in the show, Babagang Luha.
04:21I always say that she's the best of our generation.
04:29As an actress, she's so intense.
04:33She's so good at acting.
04:36You can relate to her emotions.
04:40I'm very fortunate to be able to partner with all of them.
04:45The people I worked with in the show are all great.
04:49Chris Bernal, Cai Lee, of course, Julie.
04:54And now, Jasmine.
04:56All of them are really good at acting.
