00:17having won just last year on this very stage.

00:21For the past year, we have seen her life transform

00:25from dazzling on stage

00:26to making a profound impact in her community

00:29and beyond.

00:30From the glitz and glamour of the Miss Manila crown

00:33to the challenges and triumphs during her reign,

00:36join us as we uncover the color, passion,

00:39and determination that shaped her journey.

00:42Ladies and gentlemen, let us all give a warm welcome

00:45to Miss Manila 2023, Gabrielle Lancer.

00:54I'm still in disbelief that it's been a year

00:57of holding the title of Miss Manila,

00:59and I have loved every second of it.

01:01I want to recognize and say thank you

01:03to the people who made my journey a dream.

01:08and especially Mama Marvie and Mama Franz,

01:10who I've especially gotten close with.

01:13Along with that, I would like to thank

01:15Sir Charlie Dungo and Mayor Honey

01:17for bringing back Miss Manila since the pandemic.

01:19If they hadn't brought it back,

01:21this journey would have never started.

01:22Thank you to Mama Joan for helping me

01:24prior and during Miss Manila, not just that,

01:27but is still helping me now to achieve my dreams.

01:30Thank you to every makeup artist and hairstylist

01:32I've ever worked with, as they too had to wake up

01:35at odd hours of the day just to help me

01:37get ready for events.

01:38Thank you to my family and loved ones

01:41for continuously showering me with endless love and support.

01:45And finally, thank you to my parents

01:48for being there for me when I was happy, tired, scared,

01:51and all the emotions in between,

01:53and supporting me no matter where we are on this globe.
