00:00Can you introduce yourselves briefly, what's your name and where you're from?
00:08So we are BOL, and we are both directors, and we own a production company called Topol.
00:18Can you talk a little bit about the production company, what's your goal with the company?
00:25So we actually started as, we went to the film school together, and we met there, and
00:33then we shot a short film.
00:37And then we decided to create a production company which we could count with different
00:42teams for each project that were going to be shooted.
00:47Yeah, as we wanted to do cinema, we started to do like, music videos.
00:59To like, start to get more of our budget for doing our short film, and we start there,
01:08and we never end doing music videos, you know?
01:16And you're here nominated for Best Visual Effects for the Camino video, La Ultima, you're
01:26both directors on the video, how do you split the work between you?
01:30So our families, they say that they've never heard us talk with anybody as much as we speak
01:38together and we work so much, even our girlfriends sometimes, they are even a bit jealous, but
01:47we actually had to do this project together because it was a very ambitious project, we
01:52actually counted with only 20 days of pre-production, production and post-production, and we also
01:59had to travel to different places, we shot between Spain and USA.
02:05Yeah, we got pretty tight timings, so being two directors was easier for us to like, organize
02:16everything.
02:28And what about the visual effects in the video, do you think makes it really special?
02:31Yeah, you know, we wanted to do like a special video on this one because it's the last song
02:38of Quevedo before he retired, so we wanted to do a really special visual present for
02:49everyone, you know?
02:50And we got this amazing team, half of USA and half of Europe, that worked amazing on
03:00this one, and also knowing that we have this tight timing, it was amazing.
03:06Yes, the VFX post-production company is called Studio de Golza, and they were able to, as
03:15Tomas said, to build a team of people from different places like India, USA and Europe,
03:26because we had 10 days of post-production, so it's very tight, so they had to, like,
03:36I slept maybe one night and he was working the whole night, or the other way around,
03:40together with seven of the guys, and then we woke up and the next one would take over,
03:48and so there was never like a stop, a pause in the post-production development.
03:55If people are looking to work with Topol Panequil, what kind of people are you looking to work with?
04:01Passionate people.
04:02We love workers that love what they do, because for us, we spend the time much happier, and
04:15it doesn't seem like a profession, you know?
04:19We also look for talent, but the main thing for us is people that love what they do.
04:26Awesome, thank you very much.
04:27Thank you.
04:28Thank you so much.
04:29Thank you.
