We try 200 Degrees Coffee Shop Derby's new summer menu

The new menu is packed with moreish sandwiches and tasty treats, from iced teas to delicate cakes that look and taste high-end.

00:07menu at 200 degrees in Derbyan Derby. There's a great selection of drinks including iced

00:16Spanish matcha, salted caramel affogato and dead iced old chai. These are just a few from

00:25the new selection. I'm trying the mango and peach iced tea which is here. Really fruity,

00:36really refreshing. It's got a nice, hang on, it feels like it's got a nice tart aftertaste

00:49on the swallow. But yes, I love it. You get the lovely, strong hit of peach. It's great

00:56for the summer weather. So this is the drink, it's a hit for me. Another offering on 200

01:03degrees coffee's new summer menu is the red pepper hummus ciabatta sandwich. So that's

01:11red pepper hummus, pickled fennel, cucumber and salad. Here goes.

01:26So after a couple of bites, I'm really enjoying the sandwich. It's filling, it's hearty.

01:34What I love about it is the punchy fennel which is pickled. They've gone quite liberal with the

01:41fennel so if you like peacock flavours then this one's for you.

01:45That's the red pepper hummus ciabatta sandwich. It's also vegetarian as well.

01:54Okay, so I'm now trying the iced Spanish matcha. It matches my top.

02:02I've never had iced matcha before so let's see how I get on, eh?

02:10You know what, it'll have its fans but it's not for me.

02:24The flavours are nice so I like the hint of sweetness on the back of the drink.

02:33But I think if you're not a fan of matcha, which I'm not,

02:37I don't think you'll appreciate it as much as matcha fan.

02:46There are a range of sweet treats from the new summer menu available too.

02:52I'm just too stuffed to have them now. They include lemon yuzu tart,

02:59lemon and pistachio blondie, which happens to be a flavour combination I don't see often on menus,

03:05and a raspberry milk cake and kinder cream cookie.

03:11I'll be trying those shortly when I get home but for now,

03:14overall it's a really, really strong summer menu from 200 degrees.

03:21I would happily come here again. I loved the red pepper hummus ciabatta.
