Fake number plate dealer caught on drone cam

A crook who pocketed more than £200,000 selling fake number plates to crime gangs has been jailed.

Daniel Day, 32, made the cloned plates in his bedroom which he flogged to criminals who put them on stolen cars.

The plates were used in dozens of violent crimes including burglaries, armed robberies and a shooting.

Drone footage captured the moment Day tried to flee police when they raided his home in Tipton, West Mids., last May.
