00:07by allowing the National Rally to exceed 30% of the votes,
00:12The French have given their verdict, and it is without impeachment.

00:20We welcome this result with humility, with gravity,
00:24and with a spirit imbued with a very high responsibility.
00:29In a vote where the government will have thrown all its forces into the battle,
00:32and this up to the President of the Republic, our compatriots expressed this evening
00:37a desire for change, but also a path for the future.
00:42This clear message, addressed to Emmanuel Macron and European leaders,
00:46marks our country's determination to see the European Union change direction
00:51to move towards more democracy, protection and consideration for the peoples of Europe.
00:57Tonight, a wind of hope has risen over France, and it is only just beginning.

01:06With this historic score, granted to the National Rally,
01:11the French expressed their attachment to France, to its sovereignty, to its identity,
01:16to its security and prosperity.
01:19Beyond their support for a Europe of nations,
01:22The French people voted this evening for the resumption of control of our migration policy,
01:26the return of state authority over every square meter of territory,
01:30the preservation of their purchasing power, the defense of our jobs, our industries
01:35and our farmers in the face of unfair competition.
01:38These are the priorities that the patriotic MEPs elected this evening will carry forward.
01:43alongside me in the continuity of the work of Marine Le Pen and our parliamentarians
01:47to the National Assembly and the Senate.
01:49The unprecedented gap between the presidential majority and the main opposition party
01:55translated this evening a scathing disavowal and a clear rejection of the policy conducted
02:00by Emmanuel Macron and his government.
02:03The President of the Republic cannot remain deaf to the message sent this evening by the French people.
02:09First, he must abandon the agenda he was about to implement,
02:14the de-indexation of retirement pensions, the new rise in energy prices starting this summer,
02:20the destruction of our social model or the application of the asylum and immigration pact
02:24which plans to intensify the distribution of migrants in the municipalities of France.
02:28Emmanuel Macron is a weakened president this evening, so far deprived of an absolute majority in the Assembly.
02:35and now restricted in its means of action within the European Parliament.
02:40Under penalty of persisting in a democratic impasse,
02:49The President of the Republic must choose to rely on the spirit of the institutions.
02:54We solemnly ask him to take note of this new political situation,
02:59to return to the French people and organize new legislative elections.
