00:00 A house in Quezon City and an apartment unit in Mandaluyong was hit by a car.

00:06 EJ Gomez is pointing it out.

00:08 Last Friday night at 10pm,

00:15 a fire broke out in an apartment unit in Barangay Plainview in Mandaluyong.

00:20 The fire started in the back room of the second floor.

00:24 According to the owner of the house, he just got home from work a few minutes before the fire broke out.

00:30 When my wife and I arrived,

00:34 my nephew went down for 10 minutes,

00:38 and the other room was on fire.

00:41 When I opened the door, the fire was already strong.

00:43 We couldn't do anything.

00:45 Some of the fire victims had a computer, laptop and basic appliances.

00:53 Aside from the hand injuries,

00:55 the Galang family, including a senior citizen, were safe and sound.

00:59 Residents living next to the burned house felt nervous and scared.

01:05 They also moved the cars parked in front of their house so that they wouldn't get hurt.

01:11 It was so close.

01:13 We didn't have time to save our clothes.

01:19 God's mercy didn't affect our house.

01:22 We moved to the back of the area where the house was on fire

01:25 so that the house behind it wouldn't get damaged.

01:30 We also have volunteers in front of the house.

01:33 The wide road in the area also helped in the quick fire.

01:38 The fire was also known as a sand hill.

01:40 Another house was also set on fire at 5 p.m.

01:46 in Barangay Laginghanda, Quezon City.

01:49 The house was also damaged and the fire was quickly put out.
