Taiwan President Lai Faces Disruption at Home and Abroad in Tough First Week

As China continues a second day of drills around Taiwan it says are "punishment" for new President Lai Ching-te's comments on Taiwanese sovereignty, the country is also facing another day of protests over controversial reforms being pushed through the opposition-controlled legislature.
