00:00The public is being careful with the new COVID-19 variants.

00:04The Department of Health is now monitoring the FLIRT variants, KP.2 and KP.3, as well as the JN.1.18.

00:13This is Infectious Diseases Expert Dr. Ron Ginzolante.

00:17Even though the new variants are at low risk, we should still be careful, especially those who are old and have serious illness.

00:23It is possible that the visa of those who were vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccines back then will be weakened.

00:30Because of the mutations, the new variants are not protected against the first vaccines we get.

00:38In fact, there are already reformulated vaccines, updated COVID vaccines, but they are not available here in the Philippines.

00:46We should really be careful and be vigilant with our symptoms because we can get severe, especially those who are old, even if you are vaccinated.
