Cycling - Tour of Norway 2024 - Thibau Nys impressive winner of Stage 1, Wout Van Aert very far
Ce jeudi débutait le Tour de Norvège avec une première étape très vallonnée. Journée courte cependant avec 142 kilomètres entre Voss et Voss Resort. Arrivée en montée avec 3,9 kilomètres à 5,8% et un dernier kilomètre très dur. Une étape pour des puncheurs rapides à l'image de Wout Van Aert (Visma | Lease a Bike), qui fait son grand retour, de Thibau Nys (Lidl-Trek) en grande forme ou encore d'Axel Laurance (Alpecin-Deceuninck). Malgré quelques difficultés, l'étape s'est jouée dans la dernière bosse et à 700 mètres de l'arrivée Thibau Nys s'est esseulé pour s'imposer devant Adne Holter (Uno-X Mobility) et Axel Laurance.
