Butterfly boom attracts observers in Yunnan

The season has come for Yunnan’s ‘butterfly boom’. Annually from May to June, more than 100 million butterflies break the cocoons in a very short time, known as the ‘butterfly boom’ and it’s stunning to watch.

Jinping County in Yunnan Province is known for sheltering over 400 species of butterflies, attracting many visitors and photographers every year. #butterflyboom #biodiversity
