00:09Indonesia is the third Southeast Asian country where Starlink has ventured into.

00:14The Philippines' Starlink service has been running since February last year, while the

00:18service has been made available in Malaysia since July last year.

00:24We're very excited to bring connectivity to places that either have no connectivity or

00:29as we saw in the demonstration, very low bandwidth connectivity.

00:33So this is going to be really a lifesaver for remote medical clinics and I think it

00:39can be transformative for education as well.

00:42If you can access the internet, then you can learn anything and you can also sell your

00:49goods and services worldwide.

00:51So I think it's going to be incredibly beneficial especially to remote communities.

00:55On Tesla's possible investment in Indonesia's electric vehicle industry, Starlink said it

01:00was focused on its service first.

01:34Indonesia's government has been trying for years to lure Tesla to build manufacturing

01:38plants related to electric vehicles as the country wants to develop its EV sector using

01:44its nickel resources.

01:46Starlink owns around 60% of the roughly 7,500 satellites orbiting Earth.
