00:04Slovakian Prime Minister Fikr was shot in the chest and abdomen yesterday afternoon outside the government building.

00:13He was hit in the chest and abdomen. He was in danger of death and had to rely on surgery to survive.

00:20As for the 71-year-old gunman, he was already killed on the spot.

00:24Because Fikr took a stand against Russia in the Russian-Ukrainian war,

00:29and launched criminal law and media reform,

00:38The gunman is an anti-violence activist,

00:41and also a member of the pro-democratic Progressive Party.
