Badges of Fury (also known as The One Detective) is a 2013 Chinese-Hong Kong action comedy film directed by Wong Tsz-ming in his directorial debut. The film stars Jet Li Lin-kit (李连杰) as police detective Huang Fei Hong and Wen Zhang (文章) as police probationary detective Wang Buer, in their third collaboration after Ocean Heaven (海洋天堂, 2010) and The Sorcerer and the White Snake (白蛇傳說之法海, 2011).
When a spate of eerie murders erupts across Hong Kong, two troublemaking cops, Huang Fei Hong and Wang Buer, are assigned to the case.
Grizzled vet Huang Fei Hong, is fed up with his reckless young maverick Wang Buer, always landing them into hot water. Reaching a dead end after discovering all the victims were former boyfriends of aspiring starlet Liu Jin-shui (刘诗诗 Liu Shi Shi), both detectives must play a deadly game. One of them must go undercover as Liu's lover to lure the killer out.
