00:02 as it was announced just last week that our wonderful Hollywood reporter,

00:06 Sam Rubin, has sadly passed away, aged 64.

00:09 As a multi-Emmy award-winning fixture in Hollywood,

00:13 Sam's signature style not only made him an industry titan,

00:17 but a favourite with celebrities on the red carpet who all thought of him fondly.

00:22 Yeah, for decades, audiences across the world welcomed him into their homes

00:25 as the seasoned Hollywood reporter and friendly face that he was.

00:29 He became a household name on US TV station KTLA,

00:33 where he woke up Tinseltown every morning for over 30 years.
