Deliverance is a 2022 Hong Kong thriller suspense film screen played by Kyle Shum Sheung-chit (岑尚哲), directed by Kelvin Shum Ka-yin and produced by Charlie Wong Wing-fung (黃永峰). Main cast are Simon Yam Tat-wah (任達華), Summer Chan Chi-huen (陳紫萱) and Ron Ng Cheuk-hei (吳卓羲).
Fifteen years had passed, as Nicole (Summer) returns home to Hong Kong to be reunited with her three brothers, clinging to the shattered memory from the night of her mother’s passing. Through hypnosis sessions with her big brother Joseph (Simon), the trauma that the family sustained is unexpectedly reawakened when she desires to connect back with the memories. Then, the whole world around this family takes on a dark form and love becomes almost undefinable.
