An English news portal reporter has been questioned by police over an article alleging plans to develop a casino in Forest City, Johor.  He declined to speak to members of the media who were waiting outside Bukit Aman around 11am on Monday (May 6). 00:08 plans to develop a casino in Forest City, Johor.

00:11 The reporter, who was accompanied by a lawyer, left Bukit Aman at around 11am and declined

00:17 to speak to members of the press.

00:20 Last Friday, Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Razaruddin Hussain said the chief editor

00:27 would be called up by Bukit Aman's Special Investigation Unit (USJT) over the article.

00:34 He added that the investigation will be conducted under "Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act,

00:42 Section 500 of the Penal Code, and Section 233 of the Communication and Multimedia Act,

00:49 1998."

00:50 The USJT is also expected to record the statement of Berjaya Corp founder Tan Sri Vincent Tan

00:57 and Genting Group CEO Tan Sri Lim Kok Teh regarding the same matter.
