00:20 And there's a couple of cars that come together in the mid pack.

00:24 And it might have been one of the McLaren.

00:25 The safety car is out and the cars will be led through the pit lane

00:29 to avoid any potential debris on the track.

00:33 As the marshals now come out to recover that debris

00:36 and to clear away Lando Norris's McLaren yesterday

00:41 for two qualifying sessions, it looked brilliant for Lando Norris.

00:44 And it's all started to unravel from there on in.

00:46 And this is the trouble when you start in the middle of the pack,

00:49 when you're kind of out of position, your chances of this kind of incident

00:53 contact are so much higher.

00:55 Let's have a look then at the start and the front two

00:59 getting away well, but watch Sergio Perez, who gets caught out a little bit

01:03 and then watch behind us the two Aston Martins coming together.

01:06 Alonso into Stroll and then Norris out.

01:09 Lewis joined that party as well.

01:11 Norris was on the outside minding his own business,

01:14 and eventually they clattered into him.

01:16 We'll see what happened here.

01:33 most like a bull first and then Hamilton steamed in and doubled the trouble.

01:45 but then he's got nowhere to go as Stroll turns right.

01:48 And that is quite a bit of debris on the track that's come off

02:45 Norris a passenger and out of this race.

02:47 And it's lap three and we can get going again.

02:57 That might help with some overtaking once DRS gets enabled.

03:03 Now we're on lap five of this race.

03:05 Verstappen's out of DRS threat from McLaren.

03:11 in a sprint or a Grand Prix.

03:12 They've had double points finishes everywhere we have been.

03:16 We are riding on board with Oscar Piastri now in that sixth place

03:21 behind Carlos Sainz as Sergio Perez gets past Danny Ricciardo.

03:25 Goes a bit deep, Martin, but he's up in the third place.

03:28 And he needs to be careful that he doesn't give

03:31 a breeze past.

03:33 I'm talking about Perez.

03:34 So this is how he did it.

03:35 This is where the dust came up.

03:37 Ricciardo went left to defend and Perez went even further left.

03:42 Out of turn 16 as well, gathering top speed up to about 205 miles an hour.

03:47 Who's going to be latest on the brakes here?

03:49 Ricciardo or Carlos Sainz?

03:51 Ricciardo just stays ahead.

03:54 Carlos pinched into the corner a little bit,

03:56 but he'll get another dose of rear wing open down the pit straight now.

04:02 But Ricciardo has got the same service still from the back of Perez.

04:06 And that enables him to keep the position.

04:08 On board with Lewis Hamilton.

04:10 That is how close he's getting to Kevin Magnussen chasing one point.

04:14 This time two weeks ago in Shanghai, he was in the lead of the race

04:19 up until lap eight where Max Verstappen passed him.

04:22 But he finished second and scored seven of his 19 points this season

04:27 in that one race.

04:28 Very slow on the straight.

04:29 OK, copy.

04:31 Now Hamilton has got DRS.

04:33 He is that much closer to Kevin Magnussen.

04:36 Magnussen hasn't got the DRS.

04:37 Look at the dust that's being kicked up.

04:39 Hamilton is going to try round the outside into the left hander.

04:43 And Kevin Magnussen just squeezes him out.

04:45 Good defensive driving there from the Danish driver.

04:48 Vladnar Norris is going to be investigated after this sprint race

04:52 for entering the track on foot.

04:54 The stewards are going to have a look at that.

04:55 Sadly, didn't want to have a look at the incident

04:57 that caused him to get out of the car in the first place.

04:59 Has Ricciardo got some energy boost from his car to try and keep that place?

05:04 Is Sainz picking up a slipstream?

05:05 And now with DRS getting that helping hand of extra speed,

05:09 you can see how he's now catching, catching, catching Daniel Ricciardo.

05:13 But he's not close enough going into the left hander

05:16 at the end of the straight to try and squeeze by on the inside.

05:19 Maybe he was just minding his tyres a bit in the early phases.

05:22 A balance and deck update, please, Max.

05:28 It wasn't as if he failed to lose that place exactly.

06:41 And then didn't stay on the racetrack, didn't manage to stay.

06:50 Out of turn 16 to keep Carlos Sainz at bay once again.

07:15 And this will be a great result for Daniel Ricciardo to split a Red Bull

07:19 and a Ferrari and be ahead of a McLaren.

07:24 Down the back straight we come.

07:25 Ricciardo ahead of Sainz of Piastri.

07:27 Down the main straight.

07:28 Here comes Max Verstappen, takes the chequered flag,

07:31 wins the Miami sprint, keeps up his 100% record in Miami.

07:35 And Charles Leclerc gets second ahead of Sergio Perez.

07:38 Carlos Sainz does make that lunge to try and get past Daniel Ricciardo,

07:42 but he's not made it stick.

07:43 And Daniel Ricciardo comes home to finish fourth ahead of Sainz of Piastri.

07:47 Hülkenberg will take seventh.

07:49 And Lewis Hamilton, ahead of Yuki Tsunoda, comes home to finish in eighth place

07:55 and take the final points in an exhilarating sprint.
