00:00 The Islamic demonstration in Hamburg calling for the establishing of a caliphate is creating
00:05 controversy in Germany. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz condemned the event. The interior
00:11 minister described the scenes on the street of Hamburg as unbelievable. Now, the federal
00:16 government is calling to tackle all Islamic activities.
00:19 "We have to do a lot to prevent this from happening, that such things are said in public
00:27 because it is not possible in my opinion. It is not compatible with our democratic constitution
00:32 and that is why we are going hard against the Islamic scene. Last year, right after the
00:39 terrible terror attack of Hamas on Israel, the ban on the use of force was announced.
00:44 We accept this hate and violence. The Islamic terror organizations here in Germany do not
00:51 accept this." Scholz` reaction came after more than a thousand people took part in a
00:57 demonstration organized, according to the German authorities, by people close to an
01:02 anti-democratic group, Muslim Interactive. The German intelligence services classified
01:07 the group as extremist.
