孔雀王子 The Peacock King 1988

Peacock King is a 1989 Hong Kong adventure, fantasy, horror, action, science fiction film screen written by Edward Tang Ging-sang (鄧景生), directed by Lam Ngai-kai (藍乃才) and produced by Chua Lam (蔡瀾). A prequel to Saga of the Phoenix (1989), the top billed main cast are Yuen Biao (元彪) as Monk "Peacock", Mikami Hiroshi (三上博史) as Monk "Lucky Fruit", Gloria Yip Wan Yee (葉蘊儀) as Hell Virgin "Ashura" and Yasuda Narumi (安田成美) as Miss Okada. Support roles are Eddy Ko Hung (高雄), Kara Hui Ying-hung (惠英紅), Gordon Lau Ga-fai (劉家輝), Philip Kwok Chun-fung (郭振鋒) and Pauline Wong Siu-fung (王小鳳).

Coerced by the evil Witch Raga (Pauline), Ashura (Gloria), the Hell Virgin, attempts to unlock the four Earth holes that lead to the Gates of Hell. Together, Raga aims to control the Earth. However, two monks (Mikami and Yurn) highly-skilled in magical powers set off on a journey to the cities to obstruct Ashura from unlocking the gates and stop Raga.
