00:32 amidst the flood of TikTok recommendations, my recommendation is to focus on researching

00:38 products, setting a budget, trying samples, and consulting professionals when needed.

00:44 Choose also the influencers carefully and also avoid impulsive purchases

00:50 to make the most of your budget and avoid wasting money.

00:55 Question two. I've always wanted to be a dermatologist, but I'm worried,

01:08 In the Philippines, the cost for a dermatologist visit can vary depending on factors such as the

01:14 location of the clinic and the specific treatments or procedures you will undergo.

01:19 As for the frequency of visit, it really depends on your skin condition and the treatment plan

01:24 recommended by your dermatologist. Some may require regular visits every few months for

01:29 maintenance while others may need more frequent appointments.

01:33 Question number three. How do I take care of my skin without spending a lot?

01:43 So taking care of your skin without breaking the bank involves focusing on essential skincare steps

01:50 and being mindful of budget-friendly options. So first, establish a simple yet effective

01:56 skincare routine consisting of cleansing, moisturizing, and sun protection.

02:01 Question number four. I'm curious, as a dermatologist, what's your daily and nightly skincare routine?

02:08 All right, so as a dermatologist, my daily routine often starts with gentle cleansers containing

02:15 salicylic acid or hyaluronic acid, which can help exfoliate and unclog my pores. I follow this up

02:22 with moisturizers enriched with hyaluronic acids or ceramides to provide essential hydration. During

02:29 the day, I make sure I prioritize using sunscreens with zick oxide or titanium dioxide to protect

02:36 against harmful UV rays. At night, I always use retinoids such as retinol to help promote collagen

02:43 production and reduce signs of aging. Question number five. I'm so conscious of my dark underarms.

02:50 How do I lighten my pigmentation? Do you have a product that you would recommend?

02:55 So dark underarms is a common problem among Filipinos. That's why it's important to address

03:01 the underlying causes such as usually friction, shaving, or using certain skincare products.

03:08 So my recommendation is consider switching to a gentle fragrance-free deodorant and avoid tight

03:15 clothing that may cause friction on the armpit. Exfoliate regularly with a gentle scrub and also

03:22 consider using products containing ingredients like niacinamide or vitamin C to brighten our armpits.

03:28 Question number six. I've never been to a derma before. Is there a basic treatment I should try?

03:37 All right so if it's your first time to visit a dermatologist, a basic treatment option is do

03:43 first a thorough skin consultation and analysis. So you need to discuss your skincare concerns

03:49 so you can receive a personalized recommendation. And of course you can do a facial treatment that

03:54 will suit your skin type. Question number seven. What is one question or topic you want more people

04:20 cloudy days. Asking about the best sunscreen option for their skin type and how to apply it

04:26 effectively and its role in preventing skin aging, pigmentation, and skin cancer can significantly
