Now what we've seen through our research is that food is wasted the most on Friday, Saturday
00:09
and Sunday. And one of the reasons I think this is to do with is because routines go
00:15
out the window. Now if you think Monday through to Thursday, we're cooking at home, we're
00:22
making our lunches, probably our packed lunches as well. But over the weekend, those leftovers
00:27
from Thursday, they probably aren't being used up. And people are going out more, they're
00:34
eating on the go, and as a result, food in people's cupboards is being thrown away. In
00:40
addition to that, we can start storing our food better. We can utilise our freezers and
00:47
fridges. Our freezer is effectively like a pause button for freshness. And if we keep
00:53
our freezer at about minus 18 degrees, our food is going to stay fresher for longer.
