00:04 Vaccinations are probably one of the greatest achievements in the history of medicine.
00:12 They are also a great tool in the hands of public health,
00:19 because they manage to avoid potentially fatal diseases
00:27 or in any case that can lead to serious consequences.
00:31 And so, in addition to saving a lot of pain and victims,
00:36 they also make a great contribution to the economic activity of the State that applies them.
00:43 The National Vaccine Plan, implemented in August last year,
00:47 in 2023-2025, tries to harmonize the vaccination coverage a bit throughout Italy.
00:54 And to do this, however, requires a large organizational commitment.
00:58 Especially, in my opinion, the territory that is able and will be able to raise the vaccination coverage,
01:06 not only in vaccination centers, but in general medicine centers,
01:09 and above all, of course, the free choice patients,
01:12 because they have their mission, the child, and the prevention of the child's diseases.
01:18 The National Vaccine Plan, among its novelties,
01:20 perhaps the most important one, is that it has a national vaccine calendar
01:26 with a separate device, as detached from the National Plan.
01:31 This has been very important, because we can update the National Calendar
01:36 in relation to the epidemiological events that we can have.
01:40 This plan was received by the Lazio region with the DGR number 23 of January 18, 2024.
01:49 The region has arranged for the health directors and the extraordinary commissioners
01:55 to take all the actions that lead to the implementation of the National Vaccine Plan.
02:07 The regional health and social health integration management has arranged
02:14 to implement all the specific devices that can lead to the practical implementation.
02:21 At this moment, this last step is missing,
02:25 that is, the circular actions as received by the Lazio region last January.
