00:00Hi Anshuman, you are in Comic Con right now, so tell me what are you doing in Comic Con?
00:29I am very excited here in Comic Con because today the first part of our first book, the comic book series, the prologue has been launched.
00:44And we have also announced that Aum International is going to publish the book.
00:48And now this is a separate vertical because comic books will keep coming in the world of comics.
00:54We are shooting the second part of the film in July, but today we are launching this comic book series.
01:00When will this comic book series be available for the readers?
01:05From May onwards, it will be available in bookstalls, Amazon, everywhere. You can order it.
01:12And if you want it before that, you can put a request on the first day film's Instagram and it will be delivered to you.
01:20So suddenly after this film, what did you think of making a comic book book?
01:25No, I am actually a big comic book lover. When I was a kid, I met Chacha Chaudhary, Nagraj, the writer of Nagraj.
01:34I mean, my heart is still beating thinking that it's amazing. I have grown up reading Tintin, Archie.
01:41So comic book was always in the pipeline for Lakad Bagga. Actually, the film was also made in a lot of comic book style.
01:46So it was a matter of time that we launched the comic book.
01:51Britain Peck, the American illustrator, has made this and without him, I couldn't have made this comic.
01:56So if you see the artwork, it's at par with anything in the world.
02:01Yeah, so part 2, part 3 comic book will run parallel now.
02:09In visual media, why did you think of launching this comic book book?
02:14Because today you can see on any channel that this anime is available.
02:19So why did you think of launching this book?
02:22Old is gold. Some things will never end.
02:25So I think that the charm of comic books, see how many thousands of people are coming here in Comic Con.
02:31So I think the variety and novelty factor of comic books will always be there.
02:37I have also bought a book of Chacha Chaudhary.
02:40It's about availability. So if good comic books are available, then I think the charm of reading a book is different.
02:47So that audience will always be there.
02:49And it's for posterity because it's a part of pop culture.
02:53So it will remain even after us like movies.
02:56So Devashish Makhija said a very good thing on stage when we launched it.
03:00That comic books suspend time, which films cannot.
03:04So I think that's a very good thing that he said.
03:07That while reading a comic book, you can see the past, present and future on the same page.
03:11When will you flip the page, it's in your hands.
03:13It's not like that in films, linearity keeps running.
03:16So I think the audience of comic books will always be there.
03:19Can you tell us something about your book?
03:22I can't tell you much about it.
03:24I will just tell you that it is being shot in Indonesia in June-July.
03:27And there are international stars in it, which have never been seen in India.
03:32So you will get to know everything slowly.
03:35How was the experience of Comic Con?
03:37It was amazing, exhilarating.
03:39Just the energy, entry onwards, it's fantastic.
03:43And it's a good thing that people are getting a chance to experience such events in NMACC.
03:49And I'm very glad that we were able to launch Lakad Bagga Comic Con in Mumbai, India.
