00:00 Hello folks, welcome to Men and Motors. I'm going to show you all the best from the Ford
00:07 stand at the 2023 LA Motor Show. As you can see, pretty much all you can see behind me
00:13 are Fords. The stand here is absolutely ginormous. It's bigger than some car shows I've been
00:19 to. So let's have a whip round and have a look at some of the best bits. Now we've got
00:35 the epic Mustang Dark Horse. This is a 5 litre V8 with over 500 horsepower and I think it
00:42 looks like an absolute monster. What do you think folks? The interior on this Dark Horse
00:55 Mustang is really quite special as well. It really wraps around you. It feels like you're
00:59 a cockpit in a fighter jet. You've got this big dual screen set up. Very nice quality
01:05 everything. The steering wheel is amazing. It just fits like a glove. What a lovely thing
01:12 this is. A very special car. The amazing news that I'm a bit blown away by in fairness is
01:18 that apparently this is going to be available in the UK. Can you believe that?
01:42 Next we've got this awesome F250 Super Duty. Just to give you an idea, I'm about 5'9"
01:49 or 5'10" and that's the top of the wing mirror. It's quite a sizeable vehicle as you can see.
01:56 It's 6.7 litre in this one, so maybe not one for the eco purists. You've got some fairly
02:02 aggro looking tyres, aggro looking exhaust and a huge bed which is covered in this lovely
02:10 luxurious bed liner. What a thing. What a brute. America. Yeah.
02:28 Next we've got the new Ford Bronco. Pricing on these starts at $31,000 up to about $38,500
02:35 and just look at it. What a thing. Not only has this one got this cool decal design on
02:54 it and these funky looking wheels, but they've also got really quite an interesting interior.
02:59 A lot of the Ford's interiors follow a similar kind of pattern. Some of the cars don't feel
03:03 too different to what we'd see in the UK and obviously some of them are looking a little
03:08 bit tired on the interiors nowadays. That's not the case with this Bronco. It all feels
03:13 a bit fresh and a bit different and I like it.
03:16 Next we've got this amazing $90,000 Bronco Raptor. I'm going to pop all the stats up
03:21 on the screen for you because I don't have them here with me at the moment, but this
03:25 thing's about performance and style and sheer American grunt. I mean, look at it. There's
03:41 some really cool details on this. You've got these monstrous wheels. You've also got this
03:44 very cool sidestep, which is covered in bed liner and then frameless doors on something
03:51 like this. Quite a step up into it. And then once we get in here, you've got really quite
03:58 a cool interior, massively chunky steering wheel, really rugged, but really cool. Sometimes
04:05 rugged design means it's all a bit utilitarian. This thing is nuts. I love it.
04:12 And we're going to sign off the Ford video with this, an amazing project, which is called
04:16 the Track Chairs for America State Parks. Ford Bronco have actually sponsored this and
04:22 they've provided these amazing tracked wheelchairs to 18 different state parks. So that it means
04:30 that different trails in state parks, you know, that would otherwise be completely inaccessible
04:36 to people in wheelchairs become very accessible. And you're going to look like an absolute
04:41 rock star when you're doing it. Just look at this thing. It's a thing of absolute beauty.
04:46 And the fact that it allows people to experience things that they otherwise wouldn't be able
04:50 to. I think it's a very, very nice, happy story. Now we've seen all these cars here
04:55 today. We've got loads of Mustangs here at the moment, including that dark horse that
04:59 we just looked at. Imagine what someone like Carroll Shelby could do with all these. Well,
05:04 keep watching the Men and Motors channel. And if it's already released, the video will
05:09 be up here somewhere. But we're going to the Shelby Heritage Centre in Las Vegas, and we're
05:14 going to show you all about Shelby, what they do, what they've done. And I think you're
05:19 going to be quite excited about it. It's quite the place. Catch you on the next one, folks.
