ಇರಾನ್‌ ವಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸರಕು ಹಡಗಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ 17 ಮಂದಿ ಭಾರತೀಯರನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಂಬಂಧ ವಿದೇಶಾಂಗ ಸಚಿವರ ಜತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಅವರಿಂದ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವಿದೇಶಾಂಗ ಸಚಿವೆ ಎಸ್‌. ಜೈ ಶಂಕರ್‌ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

India has called for immediate de-escalation and alerted its embassies in the region to stay in close touch with the Indian community there.
