Excellos Five Jazz Band - I Love You Best Of All

This is again one of those hardly known bands about which it is difficult to find information; several sources state it was a Dutch band, but the leading website on Dutch jazz history (jazzarchief.nl) indicates it was Belgian. Thanks to YT member spats62 I'm able to include much more data. The Belgian Jazz Discography by Robert Pernet says: "I like you best of all", on German "Grammophon" and "Polydor" 20427, matrix 2366at, recorded in Berlin ca October - November 1925. Personnel: Robert Kierberg (Belgian) (ldr, dm), Louis de Vries (Dutch) (tp), Henri Vandenbossche (Belgian)(tb, ts, vln), Alphonse Van Asbroek (Belgian)(cl, as, ss, bs, bss), Joop de Leur (Dutch) (p). Credited as a Belgian band.
