06:35I grew them myself.
06:36Ah.
06:39Very nice.
06:41Thanks.
06:41Er, what do you think of my tomatoes?
06:46Oh, well.
06:48I mean, this plant does need watering.
06:50And you need to leave the tomatoes in the sun to ripen.
06:52Ah, I see.
06:53Thanks for the tip.
06:55That's OK.
06:56I'd best be off.

08:11It's just so hot in here.
08:15Oh, there must be something I can do to keep cool.
08:18Oh, maybe I should try and get in the shade.
08:21Hmm.

08:23And there's plenty of shade down here.
08:30There.

09:45Oh, what joy when I go to school in the morning.
09:49Holding the line in the dinner queue while the cookie cooks and serves a stew.

10:16The good ones get a smiley.
10:19Oh, what joy when I go to school in the morning.
10:25Ah, it's lunchtime, right?
10:27Off you go to the canteen.
10:28We'll carry on with this later.
10:34Oh, oh, off you go.
10:36Mickey John.
10:37Hey, Dr. Juno.
10:39How come you're in school?
10:40Well, I was giving a talk about how important it is
10:42to cover yourself in sun cream in this hot weather
10:44and wear a hat.
10:46Good idea.
10:47Mind you, I'll be staying in,
10:49so I don't have to wear sun cream.
10:50Stay indoors on a lovely day like today?
10:53Well, that's strange.
10:56Here's a sun hat, in case you change your mind.
11:00No thanks, Dr. Juno.
11:02I think I'll just have my lunch here at my desk.
11:04OK, see you.
11:05Bye.
11:11Mmm, cheese sandwiches.
11:18Oh, that's a bit dry.
11:20Mmm, could use a bit of tomato or something.
11:23Hey, Rudy gave me some tomatoes.
11:30Oh, nice and ripe.
11:32Oh, I wonder if Rebecca's tucking into Rudy's fruit juices yet.
11:49In go the apples.
11:53And...
11:54Woo!
11:57Fresh fruit juice for everybody.
11:59Oh, thanks, Rudy.
12:01Oh, let's all you try some of that, Rebecca.
12:05And we can even make fruit juice out of mangoes,
12:07strawberries, even bananas.
12:11Mmm.
12:13That's delicious, Rudy.
12:15Oh!
12:16I wonder what your dad's favourite fruit juice would be,
12:19eh, Rebecca?
12:23I think you're lucky, Daddy.
12:30Here's to you, Rebecca.
12:34Oh, no!
12:36I'm covered in tomato!
12:47Look at my shirt.
12:48I'm dripping wet.
12:50I've been so careful all day to stay out of the sun,
12:52and now I'm dripping wet.
12:55Where did the time go?
12:56Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
12:58Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
12:58At seven o'clock, I dropped off Rebecca at Granny Murray's.
13:01I was really hot.
13:03I dressed up Claude in a cool bikini.
13:06Lucky him, I thought.
13:08At eight o'clock, I got to work,
13:10and I was still boiling.
13:12I realised that my classroom plants were wilting in the sun.
13:15Rudy surprised me,
13:16and told me that my tomato plant needed more water and sunlight.
13:21He gave me a bag of his homegrown tomatoes.
13:25And the sun was so hot
13:27that I thought of Rebecca and Granny Murray's paddling pool.
13:31At nine o'clock, the children came into class.
13:33They laughed when they found me under my desk
13:36trying to keep cool in the shade.
13:38At twelve o'clock, the bell rang.
13:40It was lunchtime, and the children went off to the canteen.
13:43Dr Juno popped in and offered me a sun hat.
13:46She was surprised that I wanted to stay inside on such a nice day.
13:50At one o'clock, I ate my cheese sandwiches
13:53and tried one of Rudy's tomatoes.
13:55It squished all over me,
13:57and when I washed my shirt, I got soaked.
14:00My shirt is wet through.
14:02Now remember, make the most of the sunshine.
14:06Make the most of the sunshine.
14:07Of course, if the sun can dry out my tomato plant,
14:11it can certainly dry out my shirt.
14:13Sun, sun, sun, here I come.
14:16It's a race against time.
14:17I gotta do it, I gotta do it.
14:21I gotta beat the clock before the chime.
14:23I gotta sort it, I gotta sort it.
14:25I gotta do the job on time.
14:28Like a busy bee, I'm gonna beat that bong.
14:31I'm gonna finish this job before I finish this song.
14:34Do we think he's gonna do it?
14:36Do the job that needs to be done.
14:39Will he know how to fix it?
14:41Will he finish what he has begun?
14:43Yes, sir, we are friends, he will get there in the end
14:46because he knows what he should do.
14:47I'm gonna do it.
14:49He's gonna do it.
14:51I'm gonna beat the clock before the chime.
14:53I'm gonna sort it.
14:54He's gonna start it.
14:56I'm gonna do the job on time.
14:58Like a busy bee, I'm gonna beat that bong.
15:01I'm gonna finish this job before I finish this song.
15:04Good afternoon, everyone.
15:06All dried and ready to go.
15:08Did everyone enjoy the lunchtime, sunshine?
15:10Yeah!
15:11Me too.
15:12Sunshine is a wonderful thing.
15:14Now, can anyone tell me something the sun does for us?
15:18Zoe.
15:18It keeps us warm?
15:19Yes, the sun keeps us warm.
15:21Otherwise, we'd all be shivering like a lot of very cold penguins.
15:24Brrrr.
15:25Oh, and the sun can dry your clothes.
15:29Fresh as a daisy.
15:31And the sun makes you feel happy and glad to be alive.
15:35The sun has got its hat on.
15:38Hip, hip, hip, hooray.
15:39The sun has got its hat on and it's coming out to play.
15:42And look at my tomato plant.
15:46I planted this tomato plant as a tiny little seed.
15:50And the sun made it grow to this size.
15:53And do you know, this morning, some of these tomatoes were green.
15:56And now some of them are yellow and red.
15:58And soon they'll all be red and ripe and ready to eat.
16:02And that's what the sun can do for us.
16:10Thanks for giving me these, Rebecca.
16:12I can't wait to tell you about my tomatoes ripening.
16:20Here you go, guys.
16:21Who wants some lovely freshly squeezed orange juice?
16:24Yeah.
16:25Come on.
16:25Here you go.
16:26Take a glass.
16:27Fantastic.
16:31Come on, Rebecca.

17:22Looking forward to next time.
17:24Me too.
17:26Come on, Rebecca.
17:26Let's chat about our time away.
17:28And I suppose you'll want me to tell you all about my time too.
17:33Well, there was, playing, running, creeping, jumping, chasing, painting, laughing, begging,
17:39bathing, dressing, singing, swinging, rocking, sliding, hunting, hiding, jumping up and turning
17:43around, dressing up and sitting down.
17:49But what was really special about today?
17:52Well, Claude was dressed up ready for the sun because it was such a hot day.
17:57We went out into the yard and had a great time splashing around in the paddling pool.
18:03We all wore our sun hats and rubbed in lots of sun cream so we didn't burn.
18:07Then Rudy came round with lots of gorgeous fresh fruit from his stall.
18:12He peeled it and put it into his juicer and then we drank it.
18:16It was delicious.
18:19My favourite was apple and mango.
18:21We all made the most of the sun.
18:24Even Mickey John made the most of the sun in the end.
18:28Do you like making the most of the sunshine?
18:31Me too.
18:32Bye-bye, honey pies.
