Wigan Athletic manager Shaun Maloney explained the reasons for his team selection following his side's 1-1 draw in their EFL League 1 game with Burton Albion at the DW Stadium.

00:24 and we've got some young lads that have had to play on Tuesday night, travel and it was

00:30 their first time doing that. I made that decision to start some of the senior ones but I had

00:36 no problem with that. I would say that the boys that came on actually brought an impetus

00:40 and in the last 20 minutes I liked. The first seven, they were the opposite.
