Hugh 'Bulldog' Drummond, a British veteran of World War I, yearns for adventure upon his return to civilian life. His desire for excitement is finally fulfilled when a young woman seeks his assistance in liberating her uncle from a nursing home. Suspecting that the home is a mere facade and her uncle is being held against his will while his fortune is being extorted, Drummond eagerly takes on the challenge.
