In 1997, Due to the backlash of the Canadian dub on Teletoon, Gustavo Television Animation decides to do an way better improved American US dub for GustavoMedia (Formerly Gustavo City Studios from 1997 to 1999) and Playhouse Gustavo and it won't have Big Brother Caillou and Caillou Joins the Circus. For those who hate the first season of Caillou, the one with the gray shirt, this would be a much better version. In 2000, GustavoMedia would lost the rights to the american Caillou and PBS and Cinar will give the rights with the infamous canadian dub. However, in 2010, when Canadian Caillou ended, Gustavo-Melon Gum (formerly GustavoMedia from 2010 to 2022) officially bought the Caillou Franchise with Improved American US Dub
