00:28 past some of their own barriers to really get to the root.
00:31 It really starts with the story of my mom and my dad.
00:41 The traumas that our parents and folks go through
00:43 do pass down to future generations.
00:48 Facing my mortality was something that I felt
00:52 was extremely important.
00:55 Once I figured out how dominated my life had been by shame,
01:00 I wanted to try living without it.
01:04 I mean, who wouldn't?
01:05 It just got me, I think, a little bit closer
01:11 to questioning things again.
01:21 Psychedelics are really useful tools for teaching
01:26 your brain something new.
01:28 The mind is so capable of reviring itself and changing
01:32 itself so dramatically and so quickly.
01:35 And so what you're seeing now is a whole ecosystem
01:38 of people who are trying to guide people.
01:45 There are some times in your life
01:47 where I feel like all of the events
01:49 that lead you to being in that exact moment.
01:51 And that very much felt like one of those moments
01:54 where I was like, oh, this is one of those merging points.
