00:00 The strong north-east monsoon storm is still continuing here in the northern and central Luzon

00:06 and it has experienced a severe rainfall in some parts of it

00:09 while the hot Easterlees or the wind from the Pacific Ocean is still blowing here in the southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

00:16 Based on our latest satellite animation, we have cloud clusters here in the east of Mindanao near the equator

00:24 and it may rain in some parts of these cloud clusters in the next two days in eastern Visayas and Mindanao

00:30 but we do not expect it to be a low-pressure area or a storm.

00:34 For today, we still expect light to moderate rains here in the Micagayan Valley as well as Calinga and Apayau

00:42 along the north-east monsoon.

00:44 While the northern part of Quezon plus the province of Aurora expect light rain along the north-east monsoon.

00:51 For our countrymen, here in the remaining part of Cordillera Region plus Ilocos Region,

00:56 it is cloudy until the morning and evening.

01:00 It is also cloudy from dusk to dusk and it is accompanied by light rain along the north-east monsoon.

01:06 Here in the remaining part of the central Luzon and Calabar Zone plus Metro Manila,

01:11 it is still possible to see cloudy skies and there is a chance of thunderstorms

01:15 while for the rest of the day, it is cloudy.

01:19 Here in the remaining part of the southern Luzon,

01:22 we have rainfalls along the easterlies, Sorsogon and Masbate.

01:26 But for the rest of Bicol Region plus a large part of Mimaropa,

01:30 it is partly cloudy to cloudy skies and there is a chance of short-term rains.

01:35 In terms of our temperature, because of the north-east monsoon, our temperatures are gradually decreasing.

01:40 For Metro Manila, the temperature is between 24 to 31 degrees Celsius or the temperature is decreasing.

01:45 While here in Baguio City, it is between 15 to 23 degrees Celsius.

01:51 For our fellowmen in Palawan, the chances of rainfall are still low even if there are isolated rain showers.

01:58 While here in Visayas, the cloudy weather will be erratic and it will be accompanied by scattered rain and thunderstorms

02:04 in the eastern portions because of the easterlies.

02:07 It is easy if the house will be exposed and be careful of possible floods and landslides.

02:12 Here in the western and central portions of Visayas, it is partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

02:17 There is a chance of a part of a weak rain, especially in the northern portion of Panay Island and northern Cebu.

02:23 This is because of the north-east monsoon while there are easterlies in the southern part of Visayas.

02:31 Our temperature is possible to rise to 31 degrees Celsius for most of Visayas.

02:36 But there are still places where the heat index or the body temperature can rise to 38 to 40 degrees Celsius.

02:43 These are Rojas, Capiz, Dumangas, Iloilo, and Guiwan in the eastern part of the city.

02:49 For our fellowmen in Mindanao, the rainfall is the least that they can experience for today.

02:54 There are chances of isolated rain showers in the Caraga region, Tinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur.

03:01 But for the rest of Mindanao, it is partly cloudy skies and sometimes the sky is sunny from morning to afternoon.

03:07 Then it gets a bit dark in the mountains and there are chances of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

03:14 In Metro Davao, the temperature is between 25 to 34 degrees Celsius.

03:19 But there are places where the heat index can rise to 38 to 40 degrees Celsius because of the easterlies,

03:25 including Zamboanga City and Cotabato City.

03:29 Because of the strong winds, we have a gale warning of up to 5 meters or almost 2 floors of stormy waves

03:37 in the northern zone, including Pangasinan, Bahagia, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte,

03:45 Panganat ng Batanes, Cagayan, Baboyan Islands, and Isabela.

03:50 The waves are up to 5 meters, so it is dangerous for small sea vessels, especially for our fellow fishermen.

03:58 Later tonight, the sea can be rough in the bay of Aurora and Northern Quezon,

04:03 while it can be rough on Thursday or tomorrow in the bay of Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas

04:10 due to the low tide of the Northeast Monsoon.

04:13 By tomorrow, the Amihan or Northeast Monsoon will still be in the majority of Luzon,

04:18 but it is expected to calm down by Friday, and this could be the end of our Northeast Monsoon season

04:26 and the warm/dry season will be over.

04:30 So, in the majority of Luzon, the Amihan will still be there tomorrow,

04:34 but starting Friday until the weekend, the Easter Leaves could be over.

04:38 So, our temperature will gradually warm up again, not only in the early hours, but especially in the afternoon.

04:44 For Metro Manila, our heat index could reach 36 to 38 degrees Celsius over the weekend.

04:50 There is a chance of light rain, while here in Baguio City, the sun will be brighter for the next three days.

04:58 There is a small chance of rain, while here in Cabiculan, the sky is partly cloudy for the next three days.

05:05 There is also a chance of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms,

05:08 and the temperature will be warmer, especially in Catanuanes and Camarines Sur.

05:13 For our fellow citizens in Visayas, the Easter Leaves or wind from the Pacific Ocean will continue for the next three days,

05:20 and the majority of Panay Island will experience a hot weather,

05:25 plus here in Maya-Samar Provinces, Guiwan, Catbalogan, and Catarman-Northern Samar,

05:30 there is a chance of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

05:34 Our temperature in Metro Cebu could also rise to 32 to 33 degrees Celsius in the afternoon.

05:40 Lastly, for our fellow citizens in Mindanao, the Easter Leaves will continue,

05:45 so for those who will go out, bring a blanket in the hot weather,

05:49 like a hat or a umbrella, and drink plenty of water.

05:53 If you will go out, wear comfortable and thin clothing.

05:56 For Metro Davao, the temperature is between 25 to 34 degrees Celsius,

06:01 but the heat index, or what our body will feel, is still possible to rise between 38 to 41 degrees Celsius,

06:08 including Zamboanga City, Butuan, Cotabato City, and General Santos City.
