Ex-Dior fashion designer John Galliano -- who was fired after launching into a drunken anti-Semitic rant back in February -- arrived at LAX yesterday ... where HE was on the receiving end of a verbal attack for a change.

As John got off his plane, a random photographer (not a TMZ guy) -- shouted at Galliano, "F**king racist."

Galliano -- who issued an apology for the rant back in March -- didn't say one word to reporters as he walked through the airport ... but he WAS wearing a stupid hat.

So, there's that.
