James Timpson, chief executive of  the Timpson Group makes a plea for businesses to enter the first Peterborough Community Business Awards.

00:07 Awards and also to say for those of you who know any unsung heroes, wonderful SMA businesses

00:13 in the Peterborough area, please nominate them or ask them to be nominated because there

00:19 are so many amazing things that are going on locally and there are so many people, prison

00:23 leavers, homeless people, disadvantaged people, who need support and one of the best ways

00:28 to support people is by giving them a job and I know in the Thimpson business we have

00:32 over 600 prison leavers who work for us and it's been one of the best things we've ever

00:36 done. So, there are so many unsung heroes, there are so many wonderful things that are

00:40 going on, we just need to know about it, so if you do, please apply. This is the first

00:45 year of the awards and I know it's going to be fantastic.
