Fighting maroons snatch first victory

The UP Fighting Maroons ended their 17-game losing skid dating back to last season with a 25-21, 25-20, 20-25, 25-17 win over the UE Lady Warriors in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, March 17.

Steph Bustrillo unleashed seven excellent digs and 24 points including the service ace that gave Oliver Amadro his first win as UP head coach and the Fighting Maroons their first win of the season.
