Formula One Latest: Felipe Massa sues for up to £150m in effort to overturn Lewis Hamilton’s 2008 title

The Formula One season has kicked off in rapid fashion but coming up we take a look at the emerging lawsuit case from Felipe Massa, who is aiming to overturn Lewis Hamilton’s 2008 World Championship title.  His allegations relate to the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix, where Nelson Piquet Jnr crashed deliberately to help then-Renault team-mate Fernando Alonso win the race. Here’s the latest on the story.

00:30 old was a runner-up to Lewis Hamilton who at the time claimed his first World

00:34 Championship. His allegations relate to the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix where

00:40 Nelson Pickett jr. crashed deliberately to help then Renault teammate Fernando

00:45 Alonso win the race. Massa's filing says he wants a declaration that the FIA

00:50 acted in breach of its own regulations in failing to investigate the

00:54 circumstances of the crash promptly in 2008.
