Second album by Los Angeles based pianist Joanne Grauer. Grauer's first album was recorded in 1957, a trio session with Buddy Clark and Mel Lewis. "Joanne Grauer is a funk-jazz album with avant-garde excursions mediated by a clear feminine touch, a cross-over album between singer-songwriter style tracks and jazz fusion, with dance-friendly rhythmic arc and a vague jazzy soundtrack style.
