00:05 The Pretty Little Liars star has welcomed her first baby
00:08 with husband, Brandon Davis.
00:11 Ashley confirms the news by posting a picture
00:13 of the newborn's hand to her Instagram stories
00:16 on February 29th, along with a heart emoji.
00:19 While the 34-year-old has largely kept her pregnancy
00:22 journey out of the spotlight, back in January,
00:25 she reflected on her new chapter.
00:28 Ashley told Lady Gunn she knows, quote,
00:30 "Being a parent is gonna effing change everything,"
00:34 although the idea of childbirth was a bit overwhelming.
00:38 She continued, "I think it's way better
00:40 and gets the job done faster by just laying backwards.
00:44 I would just have two nurses holding me back,
00:46 or I'll hold my leg, but I won't be able to feel it,
00:49 so it's like, they're gonna have to."
00:52 But she couldn't wait to meet her little one,
00:54 adding, "I'm ready for her to come out now."
00:57 And welcoming their baby hasn't been the only big step
01:00 Ashley and Brandon have taken recently.
01:03 In November, multiple outlets reported that the actress
01:07 and the art dealer tied the knot.
01:09 Of their connection, Ashley told Lady Gunn,
01:12 "It was immediate.
01:13 I was just like, 'I think I'm gonna marry you.'"
01:16 And as Ashley and Brandon enter parenthood,
01:19 her former co-stars are cheering from the sidelines.
01:23 Selena Gomez, who acted alongside Ashley
01:26 in the 2012 film "Spring Breakers,"
01:29 wrote on Instagram in December,
01:31 "My angel is having an angel.
01:33 Congratulations."
01:35 Meanwhile, "Pretty Little Liars" star Shay Mitchell,
01:38 who shares kids Atlas and Rome with partner Mate Babbel,
01:42 told E! News in February,
01:44 "Ashley, we've always known from those days on set,
01:47 anytime there was a baby around,
01:49 she's always been so incredible with kids.
01:51 She's always loved kids.
01:53 Always knew she would make a great mom when the time came.
01:56 So I'm really excited for her in this journey.
