00:35 the Eurotechs Dream won the finals,

00:38 defeating the Philippines Women's B in the score of 22 to 15.

00:42 This was accompanied by the joy of the Philippine Basketball Association

00:48 that the 3x3 is a way for the women's basketball to thrive in the country.

00:54 It's a big thing, especially for our 3x3,

00:56 because our 515 players also play 3x3.

01:02 It's not like our men's basketball,

01:05 where there are players who specialize in 3x3

01:08 because there are a lot of players in men's basketball.

01:11 So because of the advent of the PBA 3x3,

01:14 our girls will have an opportunity to focus on 3x3 basketball.

01:20 Aside from the WPBA 3x3,

01:23 D. also wants to have a 5x5 tournament for the women.

01:28 But according to D., this needs to be well planned.

01:32 Well, that's really the hope and the dream.

01:34 There's a lot of conversations happening around it right now.

01:37 And we're still looking for the right formula, the right platform

01:40 so that our league can be sustainable.

01:43 We don't want to just open a women's division just for the sake of it.

01:47 When we do one, we want to do it right.

01:49 So it takes time in the planning stages.

01:52 The WPBA 3x3 is just the beginning.

01:55 In the future, the Philippine women's basketball will be more popular
