Easterlies expected to bring hot weather, rain showers to most parts of the Philippines

00:00 In our latest satellite images, we can see that the Northeast Monsoon or Mihan is now particularly affected by the extreme northern Luzon

00:09 which will bring a weak rain particularly in Batanes, Cagayan and Isabela.

00:14 The Easterlies or the wind that blows from the Pacific Ocean will bring generally fair weather

00:21 but it is still possible for the rains to be more especially in the eastern part of our country.

00:26 We expect that today, it will be a bit hot and it will be still midday.

00:31 And in the next few days, the Easterlies or the wind that blows from the Pacific Ocean will be more severe.

00:38 Based on our latest data, we still cannot see any low-pressure area.

00:44 It is possible that until at least for this week, there is a small chance of a storm that will enter or form inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

00:54 Meanwhile, here is what we expect for the Luzon.

00:57 We can see that there is a big chance of a weak rain that will bring a Northeast Monsoon or Mihan particularly in Batanes, Cagayan and Isabela.

01:07 In the eastern part of the Luzon, we expect isolated or dry rains with lightning and thunder.

01:14 The temperature will increase in the area of 23 to 31 degrees Celsius.

01:18 In Baguio, 16 to 25 degrees Celsius.

01:20 In Togegarau, 22 to 31 degrees Celsius.

01:24 In Manila, 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.

01:27 While in Tagaytay, 21 to 30 degrees Celsius.

01:30 In Legazpi, in the Bicol area, 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.

01:36 Here in Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao, we also expect dry rains, lightning and thunder like the localist thunderstorms.

03:13 The temperature in Metro Manila is 24 to 33 degrees Celsius in Baguio, 16 to 25 degrees Celsius.

03:21 While 24 to 32 degrees Celsius in the part of Legazpi City.

03:25 Here in Cabizayaan, we also expect the next three days to be dry rains, lightning and thunder.

03:33 And the temperature in Cebu is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius in Iloilo,

03:38 which is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius while in Tacloban, it is 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.

03:46 While there is a high chance of rain in the next few days in Metro Davao, like Easterlees,

03:51 possibly until Wednesday, there is a chance of rain in the Metro Davao area.

03:57 In Cagandeoro and Zamboanga City, we still expect generally fair weather with isolated rain showers.

04:03 And thunderstorms.

04:04 In Metro Davao, the temperature in the next three days is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.

04:09 In Cagandeoro City, it is 24 to 31 degrees Celsius while in Zamboanga City, it is 24 to 34 degrees Celsius.
