00:30 What was the most surprising about this process after you finished it that maybe viewers would be like what that happens?

00:40 How close you can get with them? So when I was just a viewer of the show

00:44 I was like, there's no way these people are saying I love you after like

00:49 You don't realize how close you get with someone when you have no distractions like no phone

00:54 No other people giving you advice outside like your friends aren't there. It's just you

01:03 That I mean that we had days that were like six hour days sometimes of with one person

01:08 15 hours total dates in one day like with different girls and

01:12 Yeah, so when they say I love you on like day five, that's really like

01:21 Like the days of filming are long because I went into it thinking I'm gonna have time to work out

01:54 But it's so real the friendships and the love and support that you're surrounded by I went into it thinking

02:00 I probably wasn't going to make a single friend at all. But really for me, that was the best thing

02:06 I feel like that was my biggest fear going into it was like the potential drama that could happen

02:11 But you know, I was proved wrong. I mean like the women are phenomenal

02:15 So I agree because you think you know, like when you think reality shows or things like that you think catfights women are not getting along

02:21 We're fighting over men and I mean we didn't all fight over men

02:25 We all did our best but at the end of the day we were rooting for each other and you know

02:29 Now we have lifetime friends and sisters

02:31 Ready to check myself. I was getting jealous

02:39 What love triangle am I it's like a love star what pissed you off most during your time on the show me

02:51 Tried to like we know what we're signing up for you competing with guys that become your friends for the same girl

02:58 So I think I know the answer you're looking for and it did it didn't piss me off

03:03 Like I signed up for that and I'm not gonna be insulted when my friend likes the same type of girl that I do

03:10 Now if we see something behind the scenes where he was like talking crap about me, then I will be pissed off

03:14 But I don't think that happens and if it does then it definitely does

03:22 But as far as connections, I mean Matthew is one of a kind

03:28 Connected with him on a completely different level than I connected with anybody else claims just he's really down-to-earth and

03:33 super chill and he allowed me to be down-to-earth and chill and I just I love that about him is our love and our

03:42 Relationship gonna be enough. That is my biggest fear clay

03:45 Why were you so candid about your expectations of what you wanted during this process?

03:49 You know, I didn't watch love is blind before I did the show

03:52 Yeah, I did not watch it all

03:54 My mom was a big proponent me actually joining the show and I'm a mama's boy

03:58 So if my mom says something I'm gonna go ahead and do it and of course like they was moving through the process

04:02 So like, you know, that's what that's what it was

04:04 But I was pretty much candid like hey

04:06 I wanted the physical attribute and I was kind of giving hints too because you know, I am I want to have you know

04:11 Physical attributes. I want my wife to look bad. I want her to look sexy

04:15 So I was kind of giving hints like hey, you don't look good and you don't feel confident

04:18 I just wanna let you know

04:21 I probably did say that father I did but like, you know, we're 80s a stunning beautiful woman

04:26 So I want to know about the apology you guys were able to work through things. What was that like for you?

04:32 To go through something like that on international television

04:36 It's not a moment that you expect to go through on TV having someone break down

04:41 Vulnerable like in that way and be very vulnerable with you

04:44 You don't expect that especially from clay who came from a very kind of egotistical

04:48 Way when I first met him to then let the walls down and be vulnerable and be like, you know

04:53 I want to experience this with you the right way and go through these this experiment with you and ask me about physical and what

05:00 You look like is that shouldn't have been you know, top priority

05:03 What would you say helped you continue the process with that clay? It's just he's really down to earth and

05:08 Super chill and he allowed me to be down to earth and chill and I just I love that about him

05:15 Being engaged is like a crazy feeling. I just want to relish in this moment. Who do you think?

05:21 Which guy do you think the audience is gonna have the biggest issue with this is your time to talk a little crap behind the

05:26 Guys back. Is there someone who you're like, man, I see why you're single or something like that me me

05:31 I probably say me. No, you don't got to say that like I'm very comfortable who I am

05:39 So at the end of the day, there's some there's people who gonna like me. There's some people who's not gonna like me

05:44 I'm a hundred percent myself. I

05:46 Am happy who I am. I'm confident who I am and I corrupt people the wrong way and you know

05:52 I'm definitely probably gonna see some of that but I do think people are gonna love the fact that I am authentic

05:57 So, you know the people who are not comfortable with themselves or who are not used to being honest and you know wearing camera

06:02 They might feel like hey, I don't like this guy but people who are real with themselves and like see that I'm struggling

06:07 I'm going this process. I'm giving my all they're gonna like me

06:10 I'm excited to see the difference between clay and math and like why ad

06:15 likes both them because they're polar opposite people clay is like outgoing and kind of crazy and vulgar and up front and Matt is like a

06:22 Church mouse in the corner just not a nice guy coffee. Yeah, just sipping coffee. Like he's like Clark Kent

06:29 But he's not gonna be vulgar and like go nuts and like that's why I love clay I'm the same way

06:37 What I don't I don't see how she likes both of them Matthew and I had a very

06:41 specific connection

06:43 It was very intriguing

06:45 He's a man of very few words

06:46 and so when I did get to speak to him and when he did open up it like

06:50 It opened up a different world for me where I'm like, let me take a little bit and see what this man is about

06:54 But as far as connections, I mean Matthew is one of a kind

06:58 Connected with him on a completely different level than I connected with anybody else

07:03 Just I have a question for you if you had the chance to recreate just one moment or maybe one conversation over again

07:09 What would that be? I wish that well, it's not a conversation that necessarily happened

07:14 I wish that Chelsea and I would have had the opportunity to have a conversation before she got engaged

07:20 I wish I would have been able to tell her my over-the-moon excitement and love and support that I had for her

07:25 Is there one thing that or one scene that you wish that you could do over and that's for all three of you

07:30 Is there one thing that you wish you could take back something that you would kind of do differently?

07:33 You know for me I probably would have this is like kind of back, you know behind the scenes

07:37 I worked a lot I had a lot of like my schedule didn't really contrast well with the show in the days or the moments

07:43 Where you could come back and we'd be together that night and not like chat about you know

07:47 Anything just be together would make a world of a difference

07:50 So possibly just like being more transparent with my schedule

07:53 So I'm able to film it with scenes with a D

07:56 I think that was a little bit of an issue with some of our dynamic tours like the part two of the show

08:01 I'm not apologizing for anything. I said what I said. I did what I did. I'm standing on business. I'm proud of myself

08:06 I think the big thing that I would have probably done

08:09 Hopefully beforehand was like one of the big topics for us was like birth control

08:14 someone I was like in love with or like in a relationship with was almost always on birth control like that's how I was in the

08:20 past and

08:21 Maybe doing a little bit of research before hand

08:22 But I feel like also you really don't know what conversations gonna come up like that until it comes up

08:28 I feel like for me it was being very vulnerable about the fact that I'm not on birth control

08:33 I feel like it can be taken in so many different ways

08:36 But it was a conversation that needed to be had obviously with Johnny

08:39 So I feel like that was the main thing that I was mostly nervous about I would say I wouldn't change anything

08:45 I I look I love the experience of it and I definitely learned a lot from it

08:49 And I think I was humbled in my situation. Well, I don't want to walk out there crying

08:55 so

08:57 I'm just gonna sit here for a while and I think that's probably something I needed because I haven't been humbled a lot in my life

09:04 Yeah, I've never been like denied especially on camera like with my I walk out to my friends and be crying after

09:14 Yeah, I'm not good at rejection, but I think I was proud of how I handled it

09:18 So I think it's a good thing. I think my reason for being here was to find you
